Lamcy Plaza Celebrates its Ninth Birthday in Style

To mark nine years in the mall business, Lamcy Plaza the city's most popular shopping destination, lined up a host of exciting activities and super deals all through March.

Lamcy Plaza gave away four dream holidays, thus giving shoppers a feeling of being on cloud nine, literally.

These were in the form of Dnata gift vouchers worth Dhs. 10,000 each to any destination of choice. The winners were given a chance to choose the destination and the time of the year, besides choosing to go alone, as a couple or with a family.

In keeping with the birthday spirit, Lamcy Plaza wore a party look. A large cloud-shaped number nine was placed in the mall against a sky-themed backdrop to lend a holiday feel to the place. To give children a special time, Lamcy Plaza hosted a 4-day children's program that encompassed education, fun and entertainment and a host of prizes to be won.

A glittering 50-feet Christmas tree stands tall amid the sparkle of floating stars at Lamcy Plaza , the city's popular shopping destination, setting the tone for festive celebrations at the mall.

Sporting the season's hottest designer decorations, the larger-than-life tree extends up to the second floor, where Santa Claus sits in his delightful Grotto adjacent to the Toy Store. Children flock to the Grotto to capture Santa in an exciting photo session, besides also receiving gifts from him.

Meanwhile, Lamcy Plaza 's ever-present attraction – the Climbing Clown -- has undergone a makeover. Now dressed in a cherry red outfit, the Climbing Clown tries to mimic Father X-Mas, much to the amusement of children visiting the mall.
