Lamcy Plaza to host ‘Super Lunch Box by Oral-B’

Dietician and Chef to provide mothers with tips on making wholesome and healthy lunches for their kids

Discourse given by expert dentist followed by a free dental check-up for children

Dubai , UAE 1 st September, 2006: Lamcy Plaza is proud to team up with Oral-B to host the ‘Super Lunch Box by Oral-B’, which is a week-long event to educate parents about making healthy lunch boxes for their children. This event will be held from 6 th to 13 th of September 2006 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Lamcy Plaza food court.

Commenting on the importance of good oral health, Mr. Tim Jones, COO, Lamcy Plaza said: “Good nutrition is essential to good oral health. Choosing the right type of foods for your child’s diet is vital for their concentration and learning. With children going back to school this week, we thought that this is an ideal time to hold this event as it will help parents prepare a lunch that best meets their child’s dental and nutritional needs.”

The event will commence with an expert dentist giving a discourse on oral care for children and thereafter a free dental check up for children. This will be followed by a dietician presenting important and special needs of growing children. There will also be a live cooking show where a professional chef will demonstrate the art of making wholesome, healthy and fun lunches for kids.

In addition, there will also be a variety of kids-friendly meals as well as an assortment of Asian culinary delights for children. Oral-B will be handing out various prizes and goodies such as electric tooth brushes and stages tooth brushes.
